HDNA Tree Sales

The Highlands-Douglass Neighborhood Association (HDNA) is sponsoring a reforestation project in our neighborhood, to plant trees in areas where the tree canopy is bare.  Over the years, we have lost many trees to old age, disease and storms.  We seek to replace these trees and restore our once glorious tree canopy.  Tree sales begin June 20th and tree planting will begin in OctoberTrees will be planted by HDNA and it’s many volunteers.  The cost to select and have a tree planted is $25.  Gator bags (watering bags) will be provided free of charge.   If you would like more information or would like someone to come talk to you about planting a tree this fall, please contact Josh White at  joshuaiwhite1@gmail.com or (502) 767-1722.

What HDNA will do:

  • Help you select the best tree and locate it on your property.
  • Have utilities marked and adjust planting appropriately.
  • Deliver the tree, dig the hole, plant, mulch, attach gator bag and stake the tree if necessary.

What the property owner has to do:

  • Select a tree (basic tree can be upgraded to a larger one).
  • Sign the contract.
  • Pay your $25 non-refundable fee.
  • Water the tree.

If you would like to pay for your tree online we accept PayPal.  No PayPal account necessary.
